The Mount Morris Fire Protection District is a full-service public safety agency that offers a variety of fire prevention and public education services. The department works to protect the lives, property and environment of the residents from the threats and occurrences of emergencies. The Mount Morris Fire Protection District has a training center that prepares its volunteers in dealing with various emergency situations. In addition, the department organizes a variety of youth, public education and special programs that help and assist the public in normal fire and medical emergency situations. The Mount Morris Fire Protection District has been operational since 1889 and is located in Mt. Morris, Ill.
