Central Elementary School is accredited by the Michigan Department of Education and serves students in grades four through six. It has a school improvement committee that conducts monthly meetings and offers membership to parents, community members, teachers, administrators and support staff. Central Elementary School has a media center that assists students in becoming effective collectors and users of information. In addition, the school s cafeteria serves a variety of food items to students. The school s core curriculum includes various subjects, such as art; health, special and physical education; math; science; and social studies. Located in Mount Morris, Mich., Central Elementary School publishes a monthly newsletter that features school events and activities.
