The food is always a hit or miss so you ever know if your food will be good & hot or if it's going to be COLD & bad tasting! Sometimes they'll give you some of your money back but other times they refuse to do the right thing!! I won't be back to this location unless they completely get rid of everyone & start over as if they was just opening it for the first time!!

There is no such thing as a non-smoking section in a restaurant that allows smoking. It fills the WHOLE PLACE. We had to leave. =(

The first Applebees that my wife and I ate at was almost 20 years ago now. It was while I was in the military and we were in a military town close to Canada. When we ate our first Bourbon Street Steak, we knew that this was a great place to eat. Fast forward to Mt. Pleasant, TX location. We were excited when we heard they were opening an Applebees here. While the corporate employees were training the employees, the food and service was great. Then shortly afterward, it began to drop. They have since went through several different managers and staff. The food has come to our table cold, under-cooked and at times, unfit to eat. I also love the original riblets. I have had them bring them WAY overcooked as well as WAY undercooked. We have had the manager sent to our table several times and they have offered to pay for our meal. We are not overly picky, and we are not people that are out to get our meal paid for. I gladly will pay a fair price for a good meal. We have stopped all but going here. We have given chance after chance. We have had several family reunion meals here with my uncle who is no longer with us and several birthday and Father's Day meals with my dad who passed away recently. It is sad that we choose to no longer eat here. We have had a gift card since last Christmas and still have not been back. Hopefully they will get it together and soon. We do not have another steak place here since Western Sizzler went out. Maybe one day, we will try them again because I love the riblets and the Bourbon Street Steak.
