Cindy is by far the best groomer in town. She allows the dogs to run around back freely and water is always down in site. Rarely are dogs in cages unless aggressive behavior or in heat. I personally know she would never strip a matted dog without calling the owner first.

Had two dogs groomed and purchased food. Staff was very nice and personable.

I saw a recent review that did not look so good, I have to say that as customers of Hot Dog Hill for several years, they have ALWAYS went way out of their way to ensure our pets have been taken care of. Almost 5 years ago, we were looking for a puppy for our 5 year old daughter's birthday. I went into the location when they were on the square and saw this EXTREMELY cute Dachshund puppy. He has been a cherished member of our family since. In fact, if we ask him if he want's to "go to Hot Dog Hill and see his girls" (the ones that groom him) he goes to the door and waits. They treat ALL of our dogs just as if we purchased them there! I would hate to ever see them go out of business! We love them!

We have never been to Hot Dog Hill, we just moved here. We left our dog at Hot Dog Hill to be groomed. We left her at 10am, I was told they couldn't tell us when she would be ready. I called at 4pm, asking if she was done yet (getting her groomed takes no more then 2 hours at the most), I was told that she was getting dried right now. Grooming a dog the steps are: bathing them, putting them in a dryer (takes about 30 minutes at the most), then trimming or cutting there hair. Ok, 6 hours after I left her, she was just in the dryer. That was just hurtful for me to think of her in that cage for 6 hours, without water or being able to go outside to pee. Finally, we had it so we went and got her (8 hours later at 6pm), we were told that she wasn't ready, and she would get to her soon.. We just told them to get her for us, because we were leaving. She had half of her hair cut, and she still was wet? We got her home, she drank about a half of a gallon of water in less then two minutes, and went pee a lot. She is 4 1/2 years old, and gets groomed every month, she has been groomed over 50+ times, I am not an idiot. Dogs don't deserve to be treated this way, I would not ever go back. I also tried Dog House on Washington, and they are just as bad. So try somebody else in Mt Pleasant, there are a few other places to go to, we are still trying to find a good place to take her.
