Pla Xiong-Hang, MD, is a board-certified OBGYN with Ascension Medical Group. She provides care to a wide range of patients from adolescents to older women who have completed menopause and are getting routine care. Dr. Hang likes to focus on educating patients, because she believes that educating them will empower them. It is very important for her to get to know her patients, so they feel comfortable during their visit. Her special interests include high-risk obstetrics, and she is accredited by the Centering Healthcare Institute to provide Centering Pregnancy Care. Outside of the office, Dr. Hang enjoys spending time with her family. She will be practicing one day-a-week at the new Ascension Health Center in Mt. Pleasant in January 2020.
