Mt. Shasta Sisson Museum is fun and educational for the whole family. It features the history of Mt. Shasta City, local Native American basketry, legends and lore of the volcano, a model railroad, activities for kids, a museum store, and changing displays featuring local topics. It is on the same grounds as the oldest fish hatchery west of the Mississippi River. Come view the exhibits, do some hands-on activities, feed the hungry trout in the hatchery ponds, and eat your picnic! RV parking is available.
