When I became guardian for my stepfather, I hired Jim to help me out. We had a very messy situation involving an order of protection prohibiting my mother from seeing her husband, who was fairly well into dementia and had made some inaccurate statements that caused concern for local law enforcement. With a minimum of fuss, Jim was able to have the order of protection dismissed. From there, he helped with the many problems that cropped up during the guardianship because we were trying to enable my mother and stepfather to continue living in their own home despite my stepfather's frequent bouts of hostility and paranoia caused by his dementia. Through it all, and after my stepfather's death, Jim was there to give good advice and help with any legal issues. He was always friendly and helpful, as well as quick to return phone calls, and his billing statements were quite clear and amazingly reasonable. Jim has been a real lifesaver for us, and I can't recommend him highly enough!
