I remodeled my entire house through Mount Vernon Carpet One. I ordered cabinetry, countertops, flooring and blinds through them. I had gotten carpeting bound there in the past and had it turned into rugs that I still use today. My home looks beautiful thanks to the designers at Carpet One. Thank you!!!

My experience at this business was appalling. When we ordered tile we were told it was in stock and we would have it in two days. Two weeks later the tile arrived. When our tile setter began to template our pattern, we discovered it was the wrong color. I returned to the store in the company of my tile setter and contractor, both highly respected. We were told that the wrong tile had been ordered and if we wished to return it there would be restocking and freight charges as this was a special order. This was the first time we heard that ours was a special order. They even refused to take back the white grout, the most commonly used grout. After making a few calls, the employee told us 'they could see what they could do', but after the restocking and freight charges we wouldn't get much, if anything, in return. We have several other rooms to do and we will definitely not be returning after such lack of consideration and respect. If I could I would give this business negative stars.

Talk to Larry Henderson for your flooring needs. We were recommended to him by a friend after we mentioned buying carpet from Home Depot. Larry pointed out that the carpet we had bought from HD was not FHA approved and was very poor carpet. He came out that afternoon to measure my house, then pointed us to multiple options to meet our low budget, including using the high quality remnants he had on display, the nice carpet he had by the roll, or ordering laminate. We ended up going with laminate, which we love now.

Larry got the order in quick, gave me pointers for installation, and even help me locate the needed tools since everything I owned was in storage. After installation, he suggested a good amount of material to store for future repairs.
