Operational for more than 60 years, Public Utility District No. 1 of Skagit County is a municipal corporation that offers a range of indoor Water Meter Monitors. It serves the residencial and commercial building complexes. The district provides installation services, as well as on demand visual display of the actual meter reading along with indication of leaks. It works in partnership with the United States Environmental Protection Agency, which administers the WaterSense program that aims at decreasing indoor and outdoor water usage through water-efficient products. It provides more than 8 million gallons of piped water to over 70,000 people every day. It servesv the cities of Mount Vernon, Burlington, and Sedro-Woolley in Washington. It also offers a variety of payment options. Its project portfolio includes Samish River Park, Hansen-Thomas Creek Area Water Pipeline and Marblemount LUD.
