EmailCamp Chatuga, founded in 1956 and located in the Mountain Rest, S.C. is a summer camp for boys and girls ages 6 to 16. It's summer program features more than 30 activity choices, including horseback, water skiing, swimming, canoeing, drama, go-karts, guitar, creative writing and sports. Camp Chatuga is accredited by the American Camping Association. It also offers archery, tennis, arts and crafts, animal care, mountain biking, canoeing, weights, riflery, soccer and basketball. Its evening and special activities include an overnight campout, council ring campfires, talent show, masquerade party, New Years ball, treasure hunt, pirate supper, future dance, carnival, clue day, medieval feast, splash-n-dash talent night and counselor hunt.

Provided by YP.comCamp Chatuga is a wonderful camp. It has been my home for a few weeks each summer for the past seven years and those have been some of the best weeks of my life. I have gained friendships, both with counselors and campers, that will last me a lifetime. I would definitely tell people that they can send their children here without having to worry if they will be taken care of: they will be. The facilities have been well-loved, but are safe and functional. The staff is capable; they have undergone background checks and interviews, and they have been hand-picked for their great personalities. Camp Chatuga is the best camp I have ever been to, and I will be proud to send my children there one day.
