Dr Bell told me my dog was not eating due to allergies. Sent us home with dosage for Benadryl. A week and half later we went to the animal hospital in plains where they did diagnostic testing. We were told we had to euthanize our wonderful dog because she’s been in constant pain, has a mass through her entire abdomen and that she’s internally bleeding to death.

These folks not only care for your animals but they also care for the owners of said pets their prices are fair and from other reviews I thought I had to write one to say they are caring and thoughtful

Unfortunately, I have to give this place 1 star in order to write this review, but it certainly does not even deserve half of a star. On 5/9/16, I had to bring my dog in for a follow-up after having taken him to an animal hospital for a spinal cord injury. The dog walked into the vet's office slowly but still on his own without assistance. The vet took him into the back room to clean his ears, and, on the way back, I could hear my dog slipping and sliding all over the floor. 4 days later, my dog is still unable to walk without some form of assistance. I wouldn't even take my pet rock to these butchers.

I have taken my two prior animals, a dog and cat to Dr. Wagner and now take my four dogs to doctor Wagner. She is professional and helpful and so is her staff. She is accessible all the time which is more than I can say of most veterinarians I have dealt with in my lifetime. They close up shop for the weekend and you are on your own. Dr. Wagner doesn't operate that way and always returns calls, etc. anytime. No complaints at all. As a matter of fact, how about other veterinarians getting the message that this is what all pet owners need everywhere!!!

It is pretty obvious that the first review on this page is written by somebody who works at Tiffany Wagner's office. I can tell you that I made the mistake of going to this practice was not impressed. First, they are very disorganized. Second, it's obvious that this vet started a practice before was her time to go into business. By that I mean she probably should've worked under more experienced that before launching into this. She will try to sound confident in front of you, but you will soon realize that she runs a ton of expensive tests and ends up needing to call other places to get answers. My animal had a very standard issue, and she was trying to run up the bill as high as she could. She even tried to get me to greet procedures that were not necessary. Having had pets throughout my life, it did not sound like things were adding up. Thankfully I left, and my pet got the care he needed elsewhere. Third, her prices are almost double everybody else's. I do not mind paying for vet services, but this plus substandard care = get me out of there! Fourth, they try to talk you into a lot of add-ons when you're there. By this I mean they want to cut your animals nails for a high price, do ear cleanings that you can easily do at home, et cetera. When you say no, they try to guilt you into it. I always felt like I had to protect myself when I came into this practice. I ended up paying her for a lot of unnecessary and inaccurate information, but I'm grateful that I got my pet out of there unharmed.

Wonderful care of pets & their owners!

Dr. Tiffany Wagner and her staff of employees are terrific! I have been a client at many Veterinary Clinics over the years from Colorado to Pennsylvania. When I moved to PA, I found the other clinics cold, uncaring, and harsh toward not only the animal but to me as an owner. I had almost given up on the area Vets until Dr. Wagner opened this wonderful business in Mountaintop. I would recommend her and her staff in a heartbeat. If you want exceptional care for your pet, you will consider changing to or starting with Dr. Wagner at South Mountain Vet Hospital.
