I got my hair cut by Cora. I have long, straight hair, which seems like it should be relatively basic to cut. I asked for just a few inches off and for the layers to be freshened up because I planned on donating 10 inches to Locks of Love in a few months and wanted to have enough length to donate. I also was going to a wedding that afternoon and asked if I could have my hair curled. However, Cora told me that she did not do styling. She cut my hair and left it wet and told me I should go to another salon for them to curl it.



When I finally dried my hair straight the next day, I realized that the "layers" were really a straight chop of hair all the way around with a tiny chunk of long hair left underneath. It looks as if she had been cutting and forgot to do a section, or as if I have a tail under my hair. Five inches, at least, were cut off, which means I most likely won't have enough to donate when I had originally wanted. I now have to go to yet another salon to get it cut for a second time so that I don't have, as my brother said, "a mullet under my mullet." I will not be going back, needless to say.
