Provided by YP.comI recently moved to the area and was excited to visit a local day spa...unfortunately, customer service and tranquility are lacking here. I will explain my (nearly) 3 visits below.
Visit 1 - Service: Seasonal Massage
For my first visit I was greeted promptly and shown back to the locker rooms and tranquility room. I relaxed for a bit before being taken back to the massage room and although this was nice, it also left much to be desired. The tranquility room is directly across from the lockers and within earshot of the lobby. It was quite noisy and not as peaceful as I had hoped. Still however, I was excited for my massage. I was led back to the massage room on time, and my massage began with lights slightly above a dimmed level and my massage therapist having a conversation while I layed on the table. I had hoped that this conversation would wait until the end of the massage - however it continued through sections of it and prevented me from falling into that deep relaxation. Even worse, someone knocked on the door in the middle of my massage to ask her a question. Overall, my massage was a 2 out of 5.
Visit 2: Hot Stone Pedicure
I decided to come back with a girlfriend for a pedicure, and had hoped that perhaps this experience would be better. I wanted so badly to like this place - it's so close and who doesn't love the idea of waking up and driving less then 5 minutes to have a day at the spa?! Sadly, this experience ranks just as bad as the first. I was taken back to the salon and my friend and I were each asked to sit down and place our feet in the water. I dipped my feet into the water and immediately jumped back because the temperature was scalding hot. My nail tech asked me to place my feet back into the water and I advised that it was entirely too hot (there was steam coming off the top). No matter what she did, the water was not cooling down so it led to a grin and bear it experience. Once my feet were out of the water, the pedicure was enjoyable, however I suggest not wasting time on hot stones. I've had several amazing hot stone massages before (see place at the end of my review), and sadly this just missed the mark. The rocks were lukewarm and dry and rather than massage with them - the tech simply pushed it up my leg and down my leg without any technique. Overall pedicure rating: 2 out of 5
(Almost) Visit 3: Facebook special - Manicure / Pedicure:
So here is where they lost me. This would have been my third visit in a one month span. I watch their feed on facebook and they had a manicure / pedicure special going on. I had a work gathering coming up and thought it would be nice to get my nails done, especially for a great price! I called the main number and requested to book the facebook special (and explained what this was). The woman on the phone proceeded to ask what it was that I was looking for multiple times, and I again explained exactly what they posted on facebook. She then asked what my availability was and I chose a date and time to come in. She then placed me on hold, and after 10 minutes, never came back so I hung up. I gave her the benefit of the doubt (maybe they were busy, maybe she forgot, etc.) and I sent an email asking if I could book this. I received the read receipt, and two and a half weeks later - still no response. Overall rating - 0 out of 5, they've lost my business.
I've been visiting spas for the last 13 years and believe me, this is not worth the price. I am an avid customer of Sundara Spa in Wisconsin Dells (I visit at least three times a year), and I would strongly encourage anyone to spend the extra money for an amazing experience that you will not forget.
I wanted so badly to find a spa closer then Wisconsin Dells, and that is why I was so excited to be within 5 minutes of the Woodhouse Day Spa. Unfortunately, their lack of customer service and tranquility has sent me elsewhere....

Provided by YP.comI was lucky to receive a gift certificate to this beautify spa in Mukwonago. What a beautiful clean facility with friendly staff that opened the door for me upon my arrival welcoming me. The robes are comfy, the massage was one of the best I have ever had. I loved the Woodhouse Signature Facial. They even touched up my make up for dinner that night at no charge. My family and friends know where to buy my Christmas and birthday gifts from now on. I will be back!

Provided by YP.comI was not impressed with this business. I felt you had to be within a certain tax bracket to be welcomed there. It is a beautiful place, but I kept getting the feeling that I was not welcome there. The service wasn't all that the price made it out to be.
