Burying a loved one can be traumatic. My husband knew he was facing his death so he made all the arrangements in advance. This allowed us to research different options and make rational decisions. Some of my husband's requests were unusual but Mr. Fertig was able to accommodate everything he wanted. Mr. Fertig and his staff were professional and sympathetic attending to all the details in a very courteous manner. I highly recommend Mr. Fertig and his business.

When I engaged Mr. Fertig of Fertig's Funeral Home, my children were scandalized: "He's too far away!" "You don't know anything about him." I am so happy that I went with my intuition that Mr. Fertig would handle my husband's cremation with the dignity and professionalism.



Although we are miles apart. I'm in North Jersey; he's many miles south, his helper arrived within a short time, allowed us as a family to say a final goodbye, then gently removed my husband's body.



In every conversation with Mr. Fertig (and he even offered me his cell phone number) he answered my questions honestly, striking just the right note to inspire my confidence.



In my grief and uncertainty about so many things, it was wonderful to find someone who fulfilled everything he promised and with no pressure to spend more than I was comfortable doing.

My father passed away while on vacation in Atlantic City, NJ. Bob Fertig handled all arrangements to have my father cremated and prepared for eventual burial at Arlington National Cemetery.
