I have belonged to this gym for several years and have nothing good to say about it. The front desk is rude and unhelpful, the pool is often closed for sanitary or clarity reasons, the classes are lack-luster and the management team is deplorable. I only continue to belong to this gym for geographical reasons. I recently lost an earring that was a bit of an heirloom to me and was convinced that it came out of my ear when I took my sweatshirt off to use the treadmill. When I called from work a few hours earlier and asked the girl at the front desk if she would check around the treadmill for me she literally told me "no". She told me she couldn't leave the front desk and didn't even apologize or sound nice on the phone. She said, "try calling back later. Maybe someone will turn it in". I go to the gym several days a week at 5am and you barely get a greeting when you walk in or out. It's just the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Completely Unprofessional and Classless

This is by far the worst management group I have ever dealt with at a health club and potentially in general. It took a 45 minute meeting as well as various sheets of information to fill out when all I was trying to do was get some pricing. The manager, Dodd, said that he can not give pricing without giving a tour. I told him that I was not insterested in a tour as I would only be joining because it was the closest option and that I have been going to health clubs for the past 15 years. He then went on about how "they don't let just anyone join" and that "I have never seen a gym like theirs". He is the epitome of a sleezy salesman and used various stereotypes in his pitch such as no "muscleheads are allowed" and that there wouldn't be anyone "hitting on my wife". This threw me for quite a loop and seemed very unprofessional. Quite frankly he is one of the worst salesmen that I have ever dealt with and the vibe I got was just that he was an odd and classless person. He kept pushing and pushing his sales pitch which made the meeting quite uncomfortable. I would recommend exploring all other options (although there aren't many in the area) before joining this gym.

Best Equipment

I've been to a bunch of gyms over the past few years. I've paid more when I lived in the city and I've paid less. I have to say though, I've never seen equipment like they have here. It doesn't matter what machine I use, I can watch TV, go on the internet, whatever. It's awesome!! I don't have to feel like I'm taking time away from something else that I want to do so I can go to the gym. I can still facebook or check email or whatever while I work out. It makes the time go by faster too. I love it and definately recommend anyone to join.

The worst gym ever. They have ...

The worst gym ever. They have a die hard sales team that won't leave you alone so don't put down any of your personal information if your second guessing the place. They are so unfriendly any only out to sell memberships.

I went to three different gyms in the area and finally found one that I love. I now workout at Vanity Health Clubs.

I would look at all the gyms in your area, and find out what suits you the best. But, Vanity Health Clubs is by far the nicest around.
