Located just south of Wichita in Sumner County, the Kansas Star Casino offers over 1,700 slot machines, over 50 table games, an 8-table poker room and five great new restaurants. It's a gaming entertainment destination without equal in the region!

READ the reviews on Trip advisor. This is definately the TIGHTEST casino you will ever go to. OKLAHOMA is only 45 minutes on south from the Kansas Star. You will have much better chances of winning and a better time. The Kansas Star casino located right on the Kansas Turnpike is aware that they can rob people and send them on down the road, they take GREAT advantage of travelers and locals alike. The employees are disgruntled and so are the partons, stay away from the high rollers room especially. The Kansas Star is a HUGE embarrassment to the State and to the people.

Spend your money elsewhere, this casino has rapidly gone downhill since changing management. Go in any direction, Colorado, Oklahoma, Iowa, Missouri, but NOT to Mulvane. I can't even get mail offers from them anymore, tho my husband does weekly, and we both use our player's cards and lose money there. They claim it is random, but I think they are limiting to one per household now, knowing both will still come. Slots are ridiculously tight. I don't mind losing some money, that has to happen for a casino to stay in business, but what has happened here is just terrible. It's not even fun. People complain all around you and leave angry. The food is horrible, this place is going to go under at this rate before they even get their expansion done. There is no longer an entertainment factor here, and we will be driving to Oklahoma from now on. We wanted to give it every opportunity with it being closer, but it's worth the expense in gas to drive a little further. A typical Kansas venture. Gonna be right up there with Wild West World, I'm afraid.

We don't agree with the previous comment. We had an awesome time. The people were nice/friendly. The machines were pretty good to us. We heard jackpots being hit every few minutes. It will be great when the motel is built and we can spend the night. We absolutely loved it and very happy it's only a little over an hour from home. We'll be back! :) good luck everyone!

it is a loser! tightest no winning machines within 800 miles...better off to stay home than play...on preview day almost everyone was walking out mad! one or two jackpots were called and then the machines shut down for 2 hours after they announced them. lots of very, very unhappy people. counted over 121 hits on a penny machine before got a free game and we weren't the only ones...happened to almost everyone. very dissapointing for a new casino. the food was wrinkled hot dogs, dry sandwiches and what appeared to be frozen pizza. GOOD LUCK WITH THIS ONE, FOLKS...NOT EVEN GOOD ENTERTAINMENT...
