My family (wife, mother-in-law and 12-yr-old son) and I were in the Libertyville area for a soccer tournament and thought Emil's sounded like a good place to grab a bite, watch some sports and have a drink between games. Although the waitress walked past us 2x, she never acknowledged us so we figured we had to seat ourselves. The only available table for 4 was a booth that wasn't cleaned; it had a couple of napkins and tip money. We decided to sit down after standing for several minutes. As soon as we sat down, the same waitress walks up to our table and rudely said we needed to stand up so she can clean the table. We looked at each other somewhat confused and asked if she was serious since it was a couple of napkins. She said yes with an attitude. It was obvious that she had no intention of providing friendly service and we had no desire to have her wait on us with that attitude so we left after a few minutes. We would have liked the opportunity to try the food, but couldn't see ourselves staying there after not feeling welcomed whatsoever.

The delivery service is excellent. They are fast and the food is very good. For eat in, try the 1$ taco day and you won't be disappointed.
