Please be aware and avoid giving business to Dee of Dee's Flower's & gifts. I had the very unfortunate experience of dealing with her today and I am completely shocked by her total disregard for professional conduct and decent behavior, much less customer service.
I ordered a beautiful, full flower arrangement for my friend to to cheer her up before she undergoes surgery. Dee's Flower's & Gifts made the arrangement and delivered it.
What Dee's Flowers & Gifts delivered was very small and skimpy, not close to what I purchased, it was about 1/2 the size, and nowhere near as full and beautiful. I was made aware of this was because my friend sent me a text message with a picture of the arrangement to say thank you.
When I saw the picture, I contacted the company (1800flowers, who has a contract with Dee's Flower's & Gifts) to ask why what I ordered was not what my friend had received. They apologized and said they would send a replacement Monday. I thought that everything was handled.
Shortly thereafter I received a phone call from my friend, who was distraught because Dee- the owner of Dee's Flower's & Gifts called her and yelled at her and was incredibly rude! Dee told her that what I had chosen for her wasn't very nice and that I used a crappy company (1800flowers?), so she felt bad and sent her something much nicer (what?!). I was absolutely mortified that she called my friend and was so out of line with her, so I apologized profusely. I was trying to brighten her day with a flower arrangement, not cause her any distress, that is not what she needs right now. Because of what I had written on the flower card, Dee knew that this was involving someone going through an illness.
No sooner did I hang up the phone with my friend than did my phone ring and it was Dee herself calling me! The first thing she said to me in her very southern accent was, "This is Dee of Dee's Flowers & Gifts and I want you to know that I am a Christian minister and..."
Absolutely appalling.
