I have suffered issues with dizziness, visual vertigo, body sway, and balance for years. I saw several different specialists and went through many tests, but could never find relief. Vestibular physical therapy with Hermelinda Hernandez at Community Hospital in Munster was the one and only thing that turned things around for me. She also helped me with issues with hip and ankle which were greatly effecting my balance. She not only listens to me, but she remembers me and personalizes our PT sessions. She is extremely knowledgeable and professional and also very kind, supportive and friendly. Even though I don't seem like the "traditional" vertigo sufferer, she made it her mission to figure out things that would work for me and new ways to challenge me. She's always coming up with new (and fun) exercises to push my limitations. I am amazed at how much I have improved and I constantly tell people about her. I cannot say enough good things about her and definitely recommend seeing her!
