I have received eye care from Dr Martin for about 20 years. He has always been a great doctor and has always treated me well. Just recently, I've needed some extra attention that was outside of the norm. Dr Martin went the extra mile to help me, even coming to his office on his day off to bring me a special shipment of contact lenses. I would recommend Dr Martin and his wonderful staff to ANYONE.



PS: I have a child and Dr Martin has always been very kind and patient with him. He's four years old and full of energy. He never bounced quite so high as to knock a shelf off the wall, though. I imagine that if the other reviewer's child got to the point where she could cause such "inconvenience", then she probably lacks discipline and would get under anyone's skin. A response like "please keep your child under control" would be an appropriate response to any parent who lets their child be so out-of-control.

My family (myself, husband and son) has been seeing this optrician for the last 2 years. During the course of our visits, the pompus attitude portrayed by Dr. Martin was enough to make us not want to come back, BUT, this is always masked by the friendly, dependable and courteous staff that take care of you after the exam. Unfortunately, the nail was put in the coffin this afternoon when Dr. Martin attacked my 4 year old daughter when she bumped her head on his shelf and knocked it over. I went to her immediately when I saw her head bump, all the while apologizing to Dr Martin for the terrible inconvenience (nothing was broken or damaged in any way) and his response was "Please keep your children from harming themselves while in my office'" Obviously, my family will not be returning to this establishment. As an adult, I can look past the pompus attitude and find comfort in the very welcoming staff, but, I cannot allow for the complete disrespect shown towards my children.



If you are seeking an optrician for yourself, then he is a fine doctor that does a good job. However, if you have children of any age, I would advise finding an alternative.
