Renting from the Papers has been one headache after another. They have been rude, neglectful, dishonest, and stingy. I have even had to take my claims against them to the Better Business Bureau because of all the problems we have had as renters, and the harassment and negligence they have exhibited. I would not wish them upon my worst enemy. They have been money-hungry liars from the first month. Awful at their jobs. Neglectful of repairs and maintenance, even when it costs the tenant-- we had to foot a $400 gas bill because of a leak that occurred two weeks after we moved in despite the $35 inspection fee we paid for with our deposit. It took nearly six months for them to fix one of our bathrooms and the same amount of time to get a working set of laundry machines. The landlord was extremely rude on the phone when contacted about these issues, and was next to impossible to get a hold of in the first place. I was hung up on twice, mid-sentence, when voicing issues with the rental property. This is the worst landlord I have ever had, and renting from them has been an absolute nightmare.
