When my husband was recently hospitalized for surgery, I left my very active dog at Happy K9. I picked her up three days later…..a happy relaxed girl. Thanks John and crew for taking care of my girl so that I could focus on my hubby! She was out of the stress and tension and I never once had to worry!

I took 3 healthy dogs for boarding for 6 days. One day after picking them up they have been to the vet with kennel cough. They take no responsibility for it. They have no sick dogs there. Really would they like to see my vet bills.

I have been taking my dog to Happy K9 Academy 3 times a week for training and playtime for several months now. She has also boarded there overnight. I am an active member of English Springer Rescue (ESRA) and have had many foster dogs over the years that needed training and boarding. Happy K9 owners and staff are by far the best I have encountered in my many, many years as a dog owner. They all work hard to ensure everyone's 4 legged family members have a safe and enjoyable experience. My Marley absolutely loves her time there and is always eager to get inside to play. She is always happy and exhausted when we get home. That's the perfect combination. I cannot say enough good things about Happy K9! I highly recommend them.

Happy K9 is the best place for my dog!! They lovingly care for each "kid". They provide only positive reinforcement for training and our dog las learned so much. He continues to attend 1/2 day each week as he has for the past 4 years. It is important for me to know that he can stay at Kamp when we are out of town and that there is always a staff member who spends the night with those at Kamp. He loves all his doggie friends. THANK YOU to the owners and all staff for providing a wonderful place for all dogs in the area. I feel truly blessed that our dog can attend Happy K9. I highly recommend Happy K9 to everyone.

My dogs were boarded for 7 days. During the stay I kept daily contact with the facility. They came home with an open wound; more than half their food and a shredded collar. When I inquired about the collar, the response was, “I don’t know”. The wound explanation was that it was self inflicted. The staff claim that the dogs were fed but that is not the case. The dogs have a certain diet. They were supposed to be given a specific amount of treats and yet more treats were given to my dogs or at least I assume they went to my dogs. There food was measured out for the entire stay. I was given a bag with more than half of it still in the bag. The food missing from the bag equates to three days worth of food. The two dogs were there for 7 days though. Doesn’t seem to make sense. After pressing the staff, I was told the dogs were fed; the wound was several days old and occurred because the dog was pushing his bowl around and the collar was ripped because of my other dog chewing on it. This business claims to have 24hr supervision. It baffles me how they could allow my dog to eat a collar and the second dog to cut himself. The wound was quite fresh at time of pick up so it was not old. Even if it was old, I was never told about it. Also, if my dog was pushing his bowl around it probably was because he didn’t have any food in it and he was hungry. The dogs were weighed before being boarded. When weighed at pick up, they lost weight. I had to have x rays done to check for the collar material that my dog supposedly consumed. The x rays showed that she never had any material in her body. The vet said that the injury to my other dog and the shredded collar could have been from altercation with another dog. Taking everything into consideration, there seems to have been neglect in the care provided for my dogs. They weren’t fed; injured and allowed to be victimized by other dogs. This business has no accountability for their actions. I’m glad to have my dogs home and out of there.
