I purchased one sectional couch from Ashley furniture in Mid-Febuary. My salesman said the delivery date was going to be 3/31/2011. He said not to worry that it "Never takes that long" and that "we should get it in a few weeks". Well I called on 3/30 and Ashely furniture informed me that the delivery was delayed and to expect it on 04/05. Keep in mind my husband and I are sitting on lawn chairs in our living room! I thought OK 04/05, we have made it this long another few days wont kill us. Well guess what I called 04/04 and they advised me oh well we left you a message (they did not) to advise you the couch has been delayed until 04/22!!! Are you kidding me! My husband and I are so mad. So my husband called this morning and told them to cancel the order. They said that they would have someone call him back to do this for him. I sware to you as I was writing this Ashely furniture called me to set up delivery. Supposedly it is going to be delivered on 04/07. This is absurd to me! What if we hadn't called in to cancel our order they would have delivered it 04/22, but now that we are going to cancel it's a miracle they suddenly have a couch for us. I would not recommend Ashley to anyone. Quiet the opposite. Read reviews on yahoo and other website. There seems to be lots of other people out there going through the same craziness as me! LAME!
