Rolled into their parking lot with a radiator burst, had burst down the road at Rick's Bar B Q. Rick's loaned a one gallon water pitcher so I could attempt to get home... I made it to Express. Tech greeted me asking what was wrong, I told him. He started looking (I already knew what was wrong, it burst at a seam). He said, we can put a pressure check on radiator to see if that is the issue for $20.00. I asked how much to repair or replace the radiator? He said well there is another check that is $50.00 but we start with the pressure check at $20.00. I said, may I get some water? He directed me to the employee only restroom (shop sink in there). I went in to get hot water from the tap... someone came in behind me and said to workers outside "oh, some customer is in here." I looked an said, "your other tech said it was cool for me to do so." I got the water, took back and poured in radiator, it was burst near the top at a seam, it was obvious... so ... tech said to me that the manager said that we need to do a pressure check for $20.00 or you need to go. I said, Im getting another pitcher of water, let me think about it while I get more water... I got more water... came back and he said it again, "Manager says you have to get pressure check - you are in the way of other customers." I said "HOW MUCH FOR A REPAIR?" He didn't have an answer... he mumbled. I told him that I will be gone in just a minute, but I AM GOING TO pour this water in first... and I will NEVER be back, as the last time I was here, your techs did not use all the screws that were holding the engine cover under my vehicle years ago during an oil change (reason I have not been back). I stated further that Rick's BBQ was kind enough to give a container to it's customer with a car issue, and you are attempting to charge me on something I already know is wrong Thank you for allowing me 5 minutes and obtaining 2 gallons of your precious water from your tap so I can be on my way. True Story.

I went in running hot. 498 to repair. I was glad and signed the paperwork. then it turned into 800 - 1200 and more. If they had told me it was going to be over 2000 I would have never let them touch my car.



No Honesty. Just another place robbing the working class.
