My car is notorious for eating spark plugs in a short amount of time. This problem has occurred for the past 2 years. I finally decided to take it to a new place, and I was told to take it to D&W. I told them when I dropped it off that I have changed the spark plugs 5 different times since 2016 and also gave it fuel injection services as well. I asked them to find out why my car eats the spark plugs. I also told them to give me a call before they fixed anything for an estimate and to tell me what is wrong with it. I dropped it off at 9am on Thursday. I did not hear anything all day. I decided to call at 10:30am on Friday and the lady who answers the phone said they were looking at it now and I should expect to hear an answer by noon. At 2:30pm the lady called again to tell me what my total was and I asked her what happened to calling me first. She relayed me over to the owner and he told me there was a "misunderstanding" and told me he put new spark plugs in and did a fuel injection service. My issues are these: He did not call me with an estimate and He also failed to do what I hired him to do and also failed to do anything with my car in a prompt timely manner. I was never told my car would be there overnight. In my experience with mechanics, this one was by far the worst. He charged me double of what I have been charged before for the same services. I will never drop my car off with D&W again.

DON'T HAVE ANYTHING MAJOR DONE HERE. I'm fairly mechanically inclined, but I don't have a lot of time to work on my own vehicles. Took my Jeep in to have a noise looked at, ended up having the engine rebuilt. After the rebuild the noise was still there. Had to take it back. They finally got rid of the noise by fixing a stuck valve. Took it in for another noise/vibration, they kept it for over a month and when I finally called they said they couldn't find the noise, to take it somewhere else. I took it home, crawled under it in my driveway, started shaking and wiggling stuff, and found the problem in a matter of minutes. I don't think they even looked at it at all. A few months later the "rebuilt" engine was leaking oil. I took it back 3 times trying to get the leak fixed. I mean you don't expect a rebuilt engine to leak within the first year. Picked it up for the LAST time today and drove it for a while. It's STILL leaking oil. I'm out $2200 and I'm not sure the thing was ever even rebuilt. After going through all of this I've run into other people who have had similar experiences with D&W. BEWARE.

took my car in to have my transmission rebuilt picked it up first of febuary paid cash have had nothing but problems from the first mile i drove it has been back to his shop 3 times and he said he replaced the trans 3 times. then i took the car to an authorized ford dealer and spent $110 to have the transmission diagnose they informed me that the transmission was shot and needed to be replaced. i called tommy the owner and he spoke with the ford tech who informed him and tommy's replie was ive already fixed it 3 times and i cant spend any more money on it i and i replied i still dont have a working transmission that i paid over $1200 for and its still under warranty 6000 miles or 6 mouths i put less than 1100 hundred miles total and i have had my car out of the shop maybe 1 mouth total since febuary. With no retail car provided i still have hope tommy will resolve the situation with a full refund!! i would hope legal action won't be neccesary. SINNCERLY:Tony Gardner.
