Success in the show arena, breeding and sales started from the ground floor with the Schembri's whose livelihood has been the horse industry, including breeding, showing, buying and selling horses for over 35 years. These years of experiences, travel and show ring miles have put Char-O-Lot Ranch where it is today. While Char-O-Lot Ranch has produced and shown hundreds of World and National Champions over the years, one of its most fulfilling accomplishments has been earning the Leading Breeder Award at the Appaloosa World Show in 2000, 2003, 2004 & 2005. The breeding division combines ultra-modern with many years experience. We pride ourselves on maintaining a strong selection of proven and winning stallions to continually meet our clients expectations of a good and marketable product. Our Appaloosa Stallions include the #1 Leading Sire of Performance and Halter horses, The Hunter along with Private Collection, The Secret ( syndicated ), DZ Weedo and Zippo Pine Straw. Our AQHA Stallion is top of the line, Invest In My Pizzazz -2004, 2005 and 2006 World Champion Halter Stallion. Whether your mare is brought to the farm, where we maintain 24/7 care, or bred via shipped semen, personnel with over 35 years experience in the breeding business can offer much support and advice to mare owners. Our Halter and Performance divisions offer structured training and conditioning 6 days a week. Halter horses are prepped and fit with the use of ATV ponying daily on a well maintained ponying track- alternating with swimming conditioning. The performance horses are trained and maintained in our covered arena which offers a horse show like atmosphere for young horses as well as improving all weather riding conditions. Char-O-Lot Ranch's newest innovation for fitting and conditioning horses as well as rehabilitation for injuries. This enables Char-O-Lot Ranch to offer the latest in "cutting edge" technology to our clients.
