Established in 1974, Calvary Christian School is a ministry of Calvary Bible Church, and offers biblically based Christian education programs to almost 200 students from 3 years old through grade 12. The school is a member of the South Carolina Association of Christian Schools and the American Association of Christian Schools. The school offers phonics-based reading, comprehension and mathematics to its kindergarten and elementary students, along with regular music and physical education classes. Its junior and senior high school students are provided a college preparatory curriculum, with additional coursework available in music, speech, computer skills and other disciplines. Students also have the opportunity to develop leadership skills through involvement in student government, leadership conferences and other activities. The school additionally offers various sports programs for girls and boys, such as soccer, volleyball, baseball, and basketball, Calvary Christian School is located in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
