They place profits over customer well being. I went in on 12/29/18, and chatted with my salesperson about how I was there like everyone else to use my vision benefit before the end of the year. We picked out my very expensive progressive lenses, with coatings, etc. I wasn't worried, because my insurance covers this in full. However, I forgot to ask if they were in network--because every other optician has asked me about my plan directly. Because every other optician has been ethical and placed customer needs above their profit. I now have a $375 bill. It would have been free in network. I now see the receipt says I have no insurance--which is a lie. The salesperson didn't ask because she didn't want to lose the sale. This tells me they are unethical, and I can only assume they place their profits above customer well being throughout their practice.
