I am giving a 1 star review due to food only. The waitresses that helped my family and I were great they were friendly, funny and accommodating. The food was not only terrible but, it was pricey as well. The owner happened to be there that night helping out and I was tempted to tell him how horrible everyone's food was, but the waitresses stopped me due to him having very stressful day to which I'm assuming was because he had shitty cook and was noticing the mistake of hiring them. Also, I am assuming that his wife and small baby were there due to waitresses speaking with her and she was so very warm, friendly and open that I didn't want to upset her. Atmosphere is usually fun due to it being right on Boardwalk and people watching is great on MB Boardwalk the people that frequent or live on it can be entertaining to say the least. Drinks were okay bartender actually got drink order wrong don't even think they put liquor in it but, waitress fixed it making it not only taste better but definitely added alcohol to it too. I sincerely hope they have changed the cook I am to afraid to go back to eat just in case they haven't.

My daughter and I visited this location this evening, there was enough hair on my daughter's steak and cheese sandwich that a strand landed on the table. Unfortunately, after careful observation, we realized their was more hair on her sandwich. Instead of an apology, the Manager/Owner graced us with his presence, with a condescending attitude to inform us that these things happen because he has humans cooking the food. NO SH*t Sherlock. That's not how we roll in North Carolina! As business owners, we realize that without satisfied customers, we would not have a successful business. Food was pricey and added 15% gratuity for 2 people is ridiculous. No compensation for our inconvenience was offered and that is your right. HOWEVER, Mr. Owner/Manager, You might want to treat your customers with a little more respect. I've got Social Media and the First Amendment on my side! You just won some Free Advertisement!! And the only reason, I gave 2 stars is because the waitress was so polite.
