Dr. Gregory Tate, DDS, MD is an oral & maxillofacial surgery specialist in Lufkin, TX and Nacogdoches TX and has been practicing there for 19 years. He practices oral & maxillofacial surgery. He graduated from University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA) Dental School in 1992 and UT Southwestern Medical School in 1996. He is board certified and a professional member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Texas Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Texas Dental Society, American Sleep Apnea Association, Southwest Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, East Texas Dental Society and Piney Woods Dental Study Club. He specializes in dental implant surgery, oral and facial pathology, facial skin cancer surgery, dentoalveolar surgery, facial cosmetic procedures and TMJ treatment. Dr. Tate has developed lasting relationships with many of the dentists in Nacogdoches, Lufkin and surrounding areas. He is able to work closely with them to accomplish restoration of patients teeth and jaws, resulting in excellent function and beautiful smiles. Dr. Tate has lived in Nacogdoches since 1999 with his wife Andrea and they have raised three sons, Travis, Connor and Jackson. He is an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and has been a leader of the local Trail Life USA scouting troop since it’s start in 2014.
