Provided by YP.comI called for help with a damaged rim on a 13 Jetta. The rim is common to several sedans out there. Was told to go "dig thru a junkyard", without asking any pertinent info about the rim size. Then hung up on me. This is the epitome of incompetent customer service. Will not EVER do business there again.

Provided by YP.comJust moved to Nacogdoches and didn't know where I could get a new set of tires, inspection and an oil change. I really didn't want to drive around town to different stores and waste the day. Someone at school said to head to Herman Power Tire and they could help me out. I came right in and was helped by the owner, and he let me know that I could get everything that I needed done. I felt so comfortable and at home in their comfy chairs, and it was very quick. I was able to head home with plenty of the day left. Thank you Herman Power Tire!

Provided by YP.comAwful customer service, I waited at the front desk for about ten minutes before someone would come talk to me, all the while I could see them chatting it up in their offices, and they made eye contact with me several times but continued to ignore me. Finally when someone did come to the front she helped somebody that had literally just walked in before she helped me, so I had to wait another five minutes. Then they told me they'd call me in an hour when they were finished, Instead I had to call them two hours later only to be told that my truck had been fixed an hour earlier and they "hadn't gotten around to the call yet". Also they did a terrible job, I drive a relatively new truck that has been babied so there should have been no problem with a simple alignment. The truck still veers to the left. It's not as bad but it's not what I paid for either. Boatman tire does great work and they are very friendly, I'd recommend them to anyone for an alignment. For all your other car maintenance needs I'd recommend Simmons tire and gas station, I've gotten new tires from them several times on different vehicles, oil changes, and other types of vehicle maintenance and they always shoot me straight and do a great job. DO NOT GO TO HERMAN.

Provided by YP.comI stopped in for the first time to buy four new tires. Greg (one of the owners) waited on me. He asked if my SUV had a full size spare, and yes it does. He suggested that I use the spare, which had never been on the ground, and only purchase three new tires. They could use the best one of my old tires for the spare, and I could save some money. Then I took a seat in the waiting room. It's more like being in your own living room. There are couches, recliners, plants and a wide screen TV. There is also a children's area with toys and crayons to keep your kids entertained while you wait. While my tires were being replaced they also did a free check on my brakes. As I checked out they told me that I also would have free rotation every 5000 miles. These guys offer real hometown service and really care about their customers. I will definitely be back, and will be recommending them to my friends.
