In 1970, Monticello founder Jay Corley bought land in the Napa Valley with a dream of creating the finest wines in California. Since that time, three generations of the Corley family have remained dedicated to his vision, handcrafting exceptional wines made from our own grapes grown on land we farm ourselves. Today, Monticello remains one of the few family-owned wineries in the Napa Valley. For over 50 years, our estate-grown wines have reflected our relationship with the land we own and steward.
