The Napa County Office of Education is a countywide educational resource that supports and collaborates with districts to provide educational services to citizens. It is comprised of more than 170 employees who serve over 2400 students each year in a range of programs. The office conducts career training classes in high schools and community school programs for incarcerated children, on-probation and expelled students. The Napa County Office of Education operates various child development centers for low-income families and offers special education services for infants and children in pre-kindergarten. It obtains grants for countywide services, such as Project PREPARED, which is a federal grant program that helps to improve and strengthen emergency response and crisis management at the county, district and school levels. The office is located in Napa, Calif.
