Provided by YP.comIf I could give them ZERO stars I would. This is some of the worst service that I have ever received from a bike shop.
We are road enthusiasts and I have two very high end bikes. We called ahead about a rental and we were told that they had a carbon Focus with Ultegra components, and given this, I was satisfied that the bike would be decent enough quality for me to enjoy the ride. When I got there, the bike promised was not available and they tried to put me on something else....for the same cost. It was clear the quality was not at all comparable to what I had been promised but we were at this point stuck. They sized a bike that was clearly too big for me down to my size. The chain dropped constantly, and was completely filthy, had not been at all maintained and I spent most of the rental time putting the chain back on the bike every single time I went to shift. It was awful, I would never maintain a bike this way and neither would any road bike enthusiast. I returned the bike early -- it was a total disaster.
In addition, they did not return my pedals to me, a $200 value. When I called to ask them if they had been found, I was first met gruffly by the owner that he did not have them. He said he would contact me the next day. He did not. I called again to try and retrieve them and the person who answered the phone blamed me for HIS not giving my back my pedals and told me he rented them to someone else (the owner had said the prior day that the bike had been rented and that the pedals had been apparently pulled off). They have effectively KEPT my pedals and made zero effort to return them to me.
Additionally, my husband bought a tube from these guys and had them replace the tube. They did not check the tire to see if there was a problem and the next morning we had to scramble to St. Helena Cyclery (and, if you want to rent a bike or get service I highly recommend these folks) to get it fixed, effectively eliminating half a day of riding for us. It was awful all the way around.

Provided by YP.comBeware if your a female who does not know much about bikes.
Just tried to pay to have them inspect a brand new road bike bought somewhere else and put pedals on, but to my surprise, they said I needed a rebuild for $250- of a brand new bike. This was a new bike purchased online at Competitive Cyclist in Utah-who actually rebuilt the bike from scratch 1 week ago.
Shocked that I could not even pay them for a tune-up at the most. They made this decision without even looking at the bike. They stated that "we made no money off this bike (from it's sale)." I guess using friendly customer service to gain a loyal customer for the future is not in their plan.
As a new resident to Napa, it's unfortunate that they feel that way. So strange that I tried to offer them business and they felt because it was purchased somewhere else, that they would only help if I payed them the max $250 for the rebuild. It smells a bit fishy, especially since they did not even take a look at the bike.
Beware of their motives.
