Provided by YP.comI liked how Doctor Carvelli listened to my troubles and asked me what I would prefer surgery or shots, advantages I would have with both, truthful, best option for quality of life! Yes! I picked surgery of course!

Provided by YP.comI have been a patient since 2013. At that time, Dr. Diana offered me bilateral knee replacement. The day of the surgery, I was able to stand and take a few steps. There was no longer pain in my knees. Just sore from the surgery.
In 2015, Dr. Huffman did a spinal infusion on L4-5. And, I want to thank him for referring me to Dr. Weisbein for pain management. She gave me some injections, and evaluated me. I was offered a free trial of the neurostimulator to manage my nerve pain from the waist down. It was a total success and she has since implanted the permanent one. She is a great pain management doctor, and I would highly recommend her to anyone who has chronic nerve pain.

Provided by YPmobileWow I'm so impressed with Dr Freedo. One of the nicest most through Dr's I have ever seen. He diagnosed me within minutes, explained the condition, we discussed treatment option and I made my decision on treatment.
I decided on a Cotisone injection which he and his assistant started. He numbed me up then waited 10 minutes to take affect. Then came in and told me what he was going to do each step of the way.
This dr is a class act. You will not regret being his patient!

Provided by YP.comTerrible if you're seeing Dr. Shifflett or Dr. Huffman. Dr. Huffman all but told me to my face I was faking it. He's a joke! You would think Napa Valley had more great Doctors and if you read the local rag, they idolize this firm. What crap. Anyway...turns out I had surgery at another facility and doing better for my back problem Dr. Huffman didn't do a thing with it at all. Dr. Shifflett always had a minimum or one hour to one and a half hour wait every single time I saw him, and I saw him alot. Once I waited for 2 full hours. Took me a year to get him to do surgery because he said he didn't think I needed it. After surgery he said it was one of the worst tears he's seen, in my rotator cuff. Super Painful a long time after surgery. Had my other shoulder done by another doctor out of town two years later and it went perfectly and very little pain.
As a spine surgeon I make my money by doing surgery, not by advising people that they don't need surgery when they think they do. I'm glad to hear that this patient had a good outcome somewhere else, and I will sleep well tonight knowing that I continue to advise patients to do what I think is best for them and not best for my pocketbook.
