AMONG THE BEAUTIFUL SCENERY OF THE NAPA VALLEY, WE MANAGED TO FIND THE WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER!!! UPON ARRIVING TO CHECK-IN, THERE WAS A NOTE ON THE COUNTER STATING THE DESK CLERK HAD TO STEP AWAY FROM THE DESK, SO PLEASE WAIT. WE WAITED ALMOST 15 MINUTES, WHEN THE FRONT DESK PHONE RANG. THAT IS WHEN WE FINALLY SAW THE TEENAGE DESK CLERK. THE DESK CLERK SPENT SEVERAL MINUTES ON THE PHONE WHILE WE STOOD THERE. MOVING ON FROM THERE, WHEN WE FIRST ENTERED OUR ROOM, WE DISCOVERED SEVERAL TILES FROM THE BATHROOM COUNTER HAD FALLEN OFF AND WERE LAYING ON THE CARPET. WE IMMEDIATELY CALLED THE FRONT DESK, TO REPORT THE PROBLEM. THIS WAS MET WITH NON-CONCERN FROM THE DESK CLERK. WE TURNED THE TV ON AND FOUND NO TV CHANNELS AVAILABLE. WE LOOKED AT THE BACK OF THE TV, ONLY TO FIND THE CABLE CORD JUST LAYING ON THE TABLE BEHIND THE TV. A SECOND CALL TO FRONT DESK, THIS TIME REQUESTING A DIFFERENT ROOM. AGAIN, MET WITH NON-CONCERN FROM THE DESK CLERK, HE INFORMED US THAT THERE WERE NO OTHER ROOMS AVAILABLE. THE LACK OF VEHICLES IN THE PARKING LOT PROVED OTHERWISE. TOO TIRED TO FIND ANOTHER HOTEL, WE DECIDED TO STICK IT OUT AT THIS HOTEL FOR 1 NIGHT. WE FOUND THE CARPETS IN THE ROOM TO BE ABSOLUTELY FILTHY, AND MORE TILES COMING UP ON THE BATHROOM FLOOR. THE BLANKETS ON THE BEDS APPEARED TO HAVE BE PURCHASED AT THE ARMY/NAVY SURPLUS STORE. THE HALLWAYS ARE DARK AND DIRTY, HANDRAILS ON THE STAIRS WERE LOOSE. THERE IS NO SECURITY OF OUTSIDE DOORS, OPEN TO ANYONE.



WE HAVE STAYED IN MANY HOTELS AROUND THE WORLD AND FOUND THIS TO BE THE WORST!!!

THE ONLY THING THIS HOTEL WOULD BE GOOD FOR IS TO MAKE A HORROR MOVIE!! GOODNIGHT ALFRED HITCHCOCK!!

For $150 a night, you would think a person would be able to get a parking spot! After dinner, I wanted to go back to my room to relax and get some shuteye. Unfortunately, because there was a party going on, there were no parking stalls available for the hotel’s actual guests! People were forced to park in red zones and sidewalks. I understand that others use the hotel’s conference hall for recreational purposes but there should have been a few slots available for hotel guest only! The staff of the hotel was not much help either and didn’t seem to care about the problem. It was every man for themselves. However, this hotel was not completely bad. After all, the room was descent and clean.
