Provided by YP.comWent to Brighton for a mini detail on 12/4/2011 at about 4:20pm. I usually go to a different car wash, but they closed at 4 and it was after 4 when I decided my minivaan really needed a good wash before a trip I was going on the next morning. I chose Brighton because they were the only car wash around open until 5 on Sunday's. I arrived at close to closing time so I wasn't able to get the mini detail so chose the "works". They did such a great job, it didn't even need the mini detail. My family will be going to Brighton for our car washes and detail from now on. Thanks!

Provided by YP.comAs a first-time customer, I wasn't sure what to expect. My van was filthy. I drove home and thought I saw a gouge in the hood. Panicked, I phoned and was told by Jason, the manager, to return so he could look at it. When I arrived, he was very professional and examined my car with me. We discovered it was tree sap, which he promptly removed and then he rewaxed that section of the hood. Excellent service and professionalism with good results at a great price...nice.

Provided by YP.comI took my truck to Brighton to have the single bench seat shampooed and vinyl floor cleaned. Was quoted $30, agreed to the price and left my truck. When I picked it up I was told by the General Manager Jason Morin the price was misquoted and I would have to pay more. I told him you cannot quote one price and have the customer agree to it and then try to increase the price after the work is done. Very bad business practice.
I paid the quoted price. If Jason had a problem with the price quoted to me he needed to take that up with his employees not me.
When I picked up my truck I noticed right away there was a hole in the passenger’s seat. When they shampooed the bench they pulled this little plastic button thing out off the passenger's seat and it left a hole.
I talked to Jason Morin. Jason was defensive and argumentative right from the start. He claimed he did the work himself and the piece was already missing. I pointed out to him that you can clearly see the indentation from the disc and the upholstery under the disk is very clean. If it was already missing the upholstery would be the same color as the surrounding upholstery. He couldn't even look at the damage. Jason was clearly lying to me.
Jason's behavior was very unprofessional and immature. I asked for a refund since I now have a damaged seat with a hole in it that I have to find a way to repair. Jason then tried to claim I was trying to get free service. Again, very unprofessional. We're talking $30. I do not need $30 so badly that I would make this story up and go through the headache of dealing with Jason. Believe me, I would much rather have my seat without damage than get my $30 back. Jason went huffing and puffing like a child to the register to refund my money.
I found out Jason is the general manager because his family owns the business. Jason is severely lacking in people/customer service skills. If I were his family I would reconsider putting Jason in a position he is not qualified for as it reflects very poorly on Brighton. We will NEVER take our cars there again for anything, even car washes.
Please be forewarned that if they damage you car don’t expect them to take responsibility for it. Very low integrity place.
First, thank you for posting your opinion on yellowbook. This will be most helpful in the future for servicing our future customers at our detail center. Second, you asked us to do more than just shampoo a bench seat. Service request was to shampoo a bench seat and to clean a vinyl floor in a commercial pick-up truck. The floor was so dusty, covered in dryed mud and under the seats were stuffed with garbage. The condition you gave the vehicle to us to clean was beyond regular cleaning, more like restoration was needed. The entire seat was shampooed twice to try to remove the grime build-up and again with a solvent because it still looked dirty. Cleaning the floor was quite a challange for me as well. Started this aspect of the job with a rubber gloves and a garbage bag. Next applied a half gallon of Simple Green degreeser to the floor and let soak for several minutes. Scrubed floor with a stiff brush and a towel. When I realized that was not enough, moved to a power washer for better results. Then wiped the floor dry with several towels and placed a air mover inside the truck to speed the drying process of the floor and seat bench. Fourth, when you retured for the vehicle, the first item you pointed out was the missing baby seat mount fastner button. This was even before you inspected the cleaning of the vehicle and us exceeding expations of your instructions. Our menu states that a seat shampoo for a sedan is $40.00 or $10 per seat location. With a bench seat that would cost $20.00. A carpet shampoo is priced at $40.00 for a sedan or $10.00 per seat location. With a pick-up truck with four floor positions we can NOT charge $10.00 for that service and pay for chemicals, tools, energy and labor and keep our doors open. Fifth, all detail services are charged due to size and conditions of the vehicle. There can not be a set price in auto detailing, just a starting price to start from. This is stated on our menu at our front counter where the keys where left with our cashier, on every brochure menu for reference and on our website. I appoligize if you had missed this notice. Sixth, as far as the missing tab on your seat, we have invested in a camera that a picture is now taken of vehicles for reference to prevent this situation again. Remember you money was refunded because you were not 100% satisfied and we stand by that. WE EXCEED EXPATIONS AND GIVE 100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEED.

Provided by YP.comTook my boat into Brighton Carwash early one morning before work. The thing looked like it sat in mud and in the sun for about a million years since I used it nearly every weekend, all year long, and never washed it. I had a call by lunch time saying the boat was good to go. I'm thinking in my head that there is no way. So I drove back out, went inside and took care of business, then walked back out. The door made some sort of ding ding noise and it felt like I was the next contestant on the Price is Right. There I was starring at what seemed to be a brand new boat with an ice cream paint job shinnin' like lip gloss. Amazing job. See you guys next time!
