By far the worst Dr experience ever. I suffer from chronic pain due to both Chiari Malformation and Syringomyelia and was referred to Dr. Wilson from my Neurosurgeon. It started with having a wait 1.5 months to get in, which when you are use to lots of Dr appointments that is not a horrible wait. However, immediately upon checking in I was informed there is a $250 charge which I was not informed about when I booked the apt or when they called to confirm the Friday prior. I was anticipating my normal co-pay or at most a specialist visit co-pay, if i would have been made aware of this prior I could have come in prepared and with full payment. I expressed my concern regarding this cost with the receptionist and she became very rude and told me to sit down and she would speak with the manager. I proceeded to wait for about 5 mins and then Dr. Wilson comes out behind the front desk, in the lobby still, and proceeded to ask why I was there to see him and what I needed. I attempted to describe why I was referred to him for chronic pain and have tried over 16 different pains medicines to no avail and wanted to speak with him regarding some natural alternatives. Dr. Wilson was very rude and berating as he informed me there was paperwork that needed to be completed before hand (Again, I was never informed or told to complete such paperwork within the 1.5 months I waited for this appointment) and Dr. Wilson Continued to say he was doing this as a "Favor" for another Dr and would not see me today. All this was done in the lobby. I felt targeted, harassed, and belittled for coming to his office trying to get help, and to get relief from my ongoing pain. I ended up walking out in tears as he said he would not see me and stood behind the desk staring at me. Dealing with Chronic pain is debilitating already, but when you experience a situation like this from a Dr that you are hoping is going to help and provide relief is unacceptable.

Dr James E Wilson -Interventional Pain Specialist

Dr. Wilson has worked miracles for me. Unfortunately I have a history of nearly a dozen spine surgeries and I still live with chronic pain. I have been a patient of Dr. Wilson's for over 10 years and without the extensive expertise of Dr Wilson and his staff I would be unable to walk and permanently require a wheel chair. Thank You Dr. Wilson
