We specialize in modern & antique clocks and pocket watches. We are Certified Master Clockmakers. Elgin Clock Repair was founded in 1981 in Elgin, Illinois. The business has moved twice over the years to accommodate growth and expansion into retail sales. A second store was opened in Naperville Illinois in 1996. Since its formation Elgin Clock Repair has established an increasingly widespread reputation for high quality work. Elgin Clock Repair offers a full range of repair services at both of our retail store locations as well as in home service for floor clocks. Whether your clock is modern or antique our Certified Master Clockmakers are uniquely qualified to handle your repair needs. We offer repairs on most mechanical watches antique and modern. Antique and high grade watches are our specialty. We do replace batteries in quartz watches however we do not offer major repairs on battery operated watches. We will inspect your clock or watch and determine age, condition, approximate value, and what options are available for repair or restoration at no charge if the item is brought in to one of our retail stores.
