Provided by YP.comBoy, I read some of the other reviews and I can hardly believe you guys are talking about the same place.
I've had four dogs over 25 years and have used these this vet continually. I've never had any problems whatsoever and I've always been touched by how helpful they have been.
For example, last Saturday my dog got loose when I wasn't home and was wandering around the neighborhood. Somebody picked her up at a busy intersection took her to their vet and had her scanned. They were told that there was no information registered with the micro chip number. Luckily for me I got my precious little dog back that same day. Then, I took her into Naperville Animal Hospital and had her scanned to see what was up with the micro chip because I had paid for that registration.
Carrie Ann behind the counter was sooooo helpful. Not only did she scan my dog and tell me that they got the same results--no information on file. Then she scanned her again the next day so I could take a picture and send it in to PetLink to try to get this fixed. The third day she took a picture of the entire scanner so I could tell what brand and model it was and she emailed that to me-- I didn't even have to come in oh, she helped me over the phone this time. And she also give me a lot of detailed information about the message that she was getting when she called in to find out about the registration.
All this was critical in getting the situation resolved. Turns out the problem was with the PetLink scanner which displayed the phone number for PetLink instead of Avid. I would never have known that without all the extra help she gave me. None of that cost me a dime.
The following day I took my dog in for check up. I talked Dr. Tom who was great (as usual) and that didn't cost me anything either since my dog is on the monthly preventive plan.
I love this vet and I would never go anywhere else. Never had a problem-- always had a very good experience.
Hope that helps.

Provided by YP.comIf you truly love your pet, do not go to this animal hospital!!! You've been warned. The staff and doctors there will treat your pet like a business. They do not really care for the welfare of your pets, all they want is to make money. They will offer you services you don't need. They will do a "check up" without thoroughly understanding what's wrong with your pet. They want to get as many clients as they possibly can within the day (no appointment needed, you'll get who is available). We recently moved to Naperville that's why I have to change vets (big mistake!!!) We were assigned this incompetent pet "doctor" Elizabeth "cat killer" Winkler who did not truly care for my cat. Who knows what happened behind closed doors but my cat is gone now. She was not even ill, but this "doctor" said it's a tooth infection. They sedated her to find all's good - They didnt even do anything! But my cat was knocked out for good :( I could not believe it. She was just playing that morning. If I only stick to my old vet, I would probably still be holding my precious baby in my arms today. Do not go to this hospital if you want knowledgeable, competent vet for your pets. You'll be sorry. I was.

Provided by YP.comSTAY AWAY DO NOT GO THERE. They did not care for my beloved Mickey and ran him through so fast they missed the obvious signs of the problems he has. they gave him meds that caused a bleeding ulcers that won't go away and totally missed the cancer he has. He had gone there 11 years and yes at first the vets were great. However in the last 2 years the turnover there is so high and the good vets are leaving and seeing the patient care is so poor. He will not make it because of the poor patient care he received there. They should be reported to AVA This business deserves zero stars but I cannot do this here

Provided by YP.comI have been going to this animal hospital for four years and was happy until now. When I went in to the hospital for a routine visit, they told me that I am not listed as the ownership of my animals. That the files have been switched to reflect a different person by mistake. First they told me that they cannot switch the files in the computer, only a manager can do it. I requested for a manager to call me on two seperate days, no call. I then called about medication and they told me that I would receive a call back. No call back. When I follow up, the techs there state that they have no idea....communication is terrible. I will be getting my records corrected and then going to a different vet.

Provided by YP.comI have going to NAH for 30 years. It has gone way down hill in the last 15 years. This is a dog mill of vets. They
rush you in and out, have high prices, and give you basically the same meds each time, even though they
don't work, or work for a short period of time, but don't
address the real problem. They do not think outside of
box.
There is also a lot of turnover. Many of the older vets have gone. If you have an older pet, and are use to seeing one vet that "knows" your dog, your out of luck in most cases. It is very beneficial for a vet to know your
pet's quirks and when something is wrong with 'your'
pet.
I have boarded my animals there until about 4 years ago, when I got one of my dogs back with caked feces
on her rear and nails cut too short.
Stay away from these people. There are many, many
great vets in the area.

Provided by YP.comMy FIRST visit there with my NEW PUPPY was not good. The vet was pretty good till I asked to have his nail trimmed. She cut them ALL THE WAY DOWN till he was a bloody mess! I freaked and picked him up, they were more concerned with cleaning the table and said they believe in SHORT NAILS, and put that stuff on that is supposed to stop the bleeding.
My pup was only about 2 months old or so and fell off of my bed and injured his leg to the point that he could not walk. I have and HAD pet insurance and called there to have them see if my baby pup broke his leg. They told me I had to have the fee in FULL in CASH or they would not see my puppy. The pet store I bought him from had told me he had to go there to under warranty, that is how I got there name.
Anywho... I had NO cash! BUT.... great insurance. They refused to see him and even would not have anyone call me back to talk to me.
I kept calling for a couple of weeks with my pup NOT getting better when finally the girl said, " Well we do have an EMERGENCY VISIT and HE "CAN" BE SEEN IF YOU HAVE $32." Well, I jumped on that and could not believe they NEVER mentioned it before!
I got my $32 together and my son and I took my puppy there. It was a zoo it was so busy. Finally a tech came out and took him and said she'd be back in about 15 mins, well a good 45 mins to 1 hour went my and no one would talk to us! Then a door came open and someone called my last name and said to come in. Once in there I finally got my puppy back but then waited another good 1/2 hour. When the vet came in he took the xrays and put them up to the light and said he "THOUGHT" my pup had some RARE GENETIC HIP DISEASE that had something to do with blood flow and he would be a cripple. My son took a look at the films and asked how he could see anything like that when the pups legs could not be laid properly to view what he said he was looking at. Then he said, well I just think it might be a possibility. He didn't see anything to make him believe the puppy had it for sure. I was a MESS!! It was a fiasco... he sputtered and stuttered jibberish! Then gave me pain pills and told me how to care for my puppys sprain.
I got to the front desk to check out and the receptionist asked me for $200.... give or take a few bucks there, I can't remember what it was for sure. I reminded her that it took me weeks to even get in because I HAD NO MONEY but the emergency visit's $32! She GRABED the medication out of my hand and then LOUDLY told me to give her my puppy and she would board him till I got the bill paid if full! Again I freaked out, this time I got LOUD! I reminded her about the insurance and that I could have them pay them directly, she said NO! Told her I'd post date a check. Again, NO! Really? I felt like crying.
When I got home, my neighbor asked how he was, and when I told her, she could not believe it! She gave me the money to go back and get the pain pills. I called to let them know my neighbor let me borrow the cash for the meds and I'd be in. They REFUSED to even give my puppy pain meds even though I was paying CASH for them!
Ultimatly I turned them into the Humane Society of the USA!! I never got a bill ... but since then Ive asked for his records many many times and they won't release them! My puppy has bad knees cause he's big for his breed and the insurance won't pay for the surgeries. I could get a refund from the pet store but ......Naperville Animal Hospital will not release the records to me or even my vet!
BEWARE of them..... the staff is evil and ugly. I feel like they took pleasure in being so hurtful! And I'm upset with myself for giving them a second chance after the nail incident!

Provided by YP.comThe vets are very professional, however, prices for care appear to be astronomical for simple maintence care. Howver, the red headed vet is very attractive.
