My wife and I went to Chilli's last evening and noticed a sign on the door that stated No Smoking or Vapor Cigarettes within 50 feet of entrance vIOLATORS ARE SUBJECT TO FINE.. It is thier restaurant but they have no LEGAL STATUS to fine anyone. There is no city or state law that permits them to levy a fine of any kind.. Besides 50 feet is the entire north side of their parking lot. Granted it is their business and so they can dictate the actions allowed on their premesis, however, It is my money and I will not go there or anywhere I see a sign like this posted. Say goodbye to my weekly contribution to your elitist coproation. You serve alcoholic beverages and allow people to drive, how many of them leave over the ligal limit?
