Provided by YP.comHomer's antique and military is such an amazing place to shop! I've been there a couple of times now and every single time I find something unique and different. There aren't many stores around like Homer's so if you get the chance, definitely go in! Homer was such a nice man and his employees were helpful as well.

It`s a huge store only took me a couple of days to see everything in it. I very much enjoyed my time there and stop in every now and then to see whats new.

Provided by YP.comAvoid this place ! The owner, Homer Helter, and his manager Dennis, are rude and pompous asses who are disrespectful to customers. He uses foul language in the store and cracks racist, homophobic, and anti-semitic jokes when he thinks people agree with him. They will also lie to you about the authenticity of miltiaria. He sells fakes as originals ! Buyers Beware !
Also, he was recently indicted by a federal court for selling illegal guns through his store. Google this guy ! He is a total crook and fraud !!!!!!

Provided by YP.comNaturally, do your research and shop your items around when you are selling! This place is fantastic and I can hardly ever leave without buying something. The military section is one part of this huge antique mall. It's a fantastic place to explore, discover, covet and buy!

I wanted to recreate a photo of my grandmother - she was a WAVE in WWII, Homer and Jim helped me find her exact uniform, all the pins and hat - wonderful experience!

BEWARE!!!I took several WW2 German helmets to Homer's to sell he told me retail they were worth $1600. he then made me an offer of $800. I had already gotten an offer of $3950. GET A REPUTABLE SECOND OPINION!!!

There is no more dedicated and knowledgeable dealer in the country then homer. You are barking up the wrong tree when criticizing this dedicated man supports veterans beyond your imagination. I suggest that you learn to trust Homer, you'll never regret it.

I live in the area and when I get a chance I always stop by. I have found the staff and owner to be very helpful and pleasant. I have purchased several items over the years and found their pricing very reasonable.I highly recommend this place, just don't buy what I collect before I do!!

What a great shopping experience I had at Homer's! I was looking for some specific Russian WWII items and the guys there were very helpful. Questions I had about the items I was unfamiliar with were answered and they were patient and kind through my entire experience. Once my other half saw all the treasures I had scored, I came back to Homer's with him to continue our search for more unusual military items for our collection. Spending a few hours poking around at Homer's is really quite fun (and educational!) and I'm sure we'll be back again and again.

Homer's place is a national treasure!! I've met there: veterans of Iwo Jima, Guadacanal, Okinawa, Saipan, Normandy, Battle of the Bulge, Medal of Honor recipients, etc., etc. There are no greater giving people than Homer & his wife Diana. He staunchly supports veterans, Mom, "apple pie", and all things America. What a blessing it was to experience Homer and all the people who come to his place on a regular basis.
