These folks simply KNOW what is wrong with your vehicle ... they are DOCTORS of their trade. I had various problems with my variety of sedans and van and these guys just KNOW what's wrong .. sometimes before I even start the car! I trust these people .. and that's a lot to say when there are so many rip-offs in this state. I recommend NY Auto .. to everyone .. especially those without any knowledge of engines, motors or accessories .. especially WOMEN. I have never been dissastified with their service.

I've been there several times, and so have some friends and we have always gotten great services (and good prices). Very honest too.

I took my car to get two simple maintenance things done to it, when I got the car back it started making a grinding noise, half way home, then they decided to damage my battery terminal as well and now my car is having what I believe to be transmission problems, which it never had till that day. When I took it back they made it sound like they did me a favor and that they did no damage to the car at all. This shop and it's 2 mechanics are highly disappointing, and because of them I now I have to spend more money to have the dealer properly fix what they damaged.

Very poor shop, you can do alot better else where!

I am going to try and make this short and to the point. I went to this shop to get a new radiator recently. The owner Russ is the one who installed it. I should I known when he put the radiator in upside down this isn't the shop for me. His mechanic Dennis had to tell him to turn it around. Now, he finally got it in and I felt very relieved that it was done due the the struggle that I saw him going through. We then let the car run and it seemed to be fine, no leaks or anything. I now drive the car home and when I get home I notice fluid leaking all over my drive way. I call him and tries to tell me it's probably just left over fluid that got onto the engine. I told him I'm on my way it's more than that. I arrived and Russ the owner didn't even have the balls to come out of his office. They basically tried to run me out of the place with my oil and transmission fluid dangerously low because Russ and Dennis are horrible mechanics. Don't go there.
