Being Canadian I needed a reliable pool company to maintain my pool when I wasn't there. Pinch a Penny came highly recommended by my neighbours. They had serviced my pool with good results in the past.

However their pool maintance has poorly trained employees with a high turnover rate. Pool maintance over 3 months was not done as contracted. No vacuuming as per contract and a 5 minute visit per week. When this employee was fired and a new one came, I asked if I could get someone who had been there a bit longer. I was told they were all new, but all had previous experience.

When the pool did not appear to be working, I notified them. They were not happy to send some out " for much longer than they needed to be there". They said he pool was working however they never actually looked at the pool, only the pump. When I told them it still wasn't working, they suggested I go elsewhere.



I called Sea Breeze who fixed the problem and have actually vacuumed the pool for me.



Pinch a penny has a lot to learn about customer service, and although they are well liked in the neighbourhood I would not recommend them for a pool maintance plan
