Mr. Vann is a professional con-artist. I gave him 30k to install speakers in my house. I provided the projector, tvs, and amp for all the rooms. It took 5 days to run wires in a simple attic. 70% of the time Mr. Vann's employees at 100/hr didn't accomplish anything. Plus, everything sounded *terrible*. I had to wire my sonos myself because they could not figure out that my network had two different sub-nets. After 30k I get a 18k labor charge from Mr. Vann. Still nothing in the house works right and I'm expected to pay this con-artist again. On top of *everything*, Mr. Vann gave me fraudulent hours during the labor charges. I tried speaking with him regarding the problems, but during that conversation I realized that this guy is a professional scammer, and only wants to talk in person. NO PAPER TRAIL, BECAUSE HE'S A SCAMMER!

I've move the project to Epic Audio and Video after finding out from an employee of Mr. Vann's that he tells his employees to "stretch out" projects. To purposely fraud clients. I was watching his employees work daily, and I could see right through his fraud.

I've been in contact with: Weldon Rothman, Mr. Vann's attorney regarding the fraud he is committing.

Countersuit will be filed May 3rd against Specialty Electronics.

As our project comes to an end, I thought I would write this to compliment Dana and his Specialty Electronics staff for a job well done. I wish that all of the companies I have to deal with were of the quality of SE. Building this house has been trying at times, but deal with with you and your people at least made the home entertainment part of this project easy. I commend you for wanting to do everything "right". Quality DOES matter and it's very refreshing to deal with a company that not only believe that, but also practices it. It was clear from the start that SE's team wanted to provide me with a system that I would be happy with for many years to come. SE designed a system to meet all of my needs. This team went the extra mile and I can't say it enough! I don't anticipate building another home, but if I do, Specialty Electronics would certaintly be the first ones I would call back!

Our project has come to an end and I would like to give a positive review for Specialty Electronics in Naples. I wish all of the subcontractors that I had to deal with were of the quality of your organization. Building this house has been trying at times, but dealing with the Specialty Electronics team at least made the home entertainment part of the project easy. I don't anticipate building another house, but if I do, Specialty Electronics would certainly be doing my system again.

Had my entire house electronics supplied by Specialty Electronics - including Wireless internet, TVs and speakers with remotes and boxes, house and pool sound systems, outside security cameras, door bell systems, etc. Their Service is awful, and costs $100/ labor hour per person!. It always takes weeks for them to schedule you, and their products are not top of line! A remote box costing $1800.00 never did operate correctly. They eventually replaced it with another Brand costing $800. After waiting 2 weeks for them to fit me in to their busy schedule, our wireless internet service went down. 2 days after their service rep was there! I called 3 times for Tech advise. Each time was told nobody was available. Nobody from Specialty ever called back! After a 4th call the following day, a return call was made after threatening to not pay the bill, which btw was sent immediately. Reason given for not calling was in exact words: "we were too busy yesterday to return your call." Go Elsewhere!
