My daughter (7years old) has been talking Ukulele lessons for about a year now. She fell in love with the lessons day one and was playing songs after only a few weeks. Mike is so patient and encouraging. My daughter isn’t only having have fun but has also excelled in learning this instrument. Now she can nearly play any songs she wants and her repertoire of songs she can play by heart is around 10 songs now. Some of the songs include, Country Roads, over the Rainbow, House of the raising sun, stand by me, etc. Mike has also given her the confidence to go on stage and play on front of crowds! My daughter likes to play oldies and classics and Mike encourages her to choose the songs she likes best and teaching them to her in such a fun and effective way! He is the best teacher we could have ever chosen! Highly recommend!!

Last 6 months Mike is teaching my 8 y.o. granddaughter. Mike is a great teacher. He knows exactly how to teach children and how to explain them. He is unbelievably patient with my energetic child . Every lesson she learns something new. Today I asked my granddaughter what is she thinking about Mr. Mike. This is her answer: "he is very kind, sweet, loving and special".

Mike is an excellent instructor. He has been teaching my 4-year-old granddaughter how to sing and play various instruments. He is a great teacher! Ive enjoyed taking lessons and he uses the time very wisely to teach. He can help me learn quickly while having it still be a fun experience. He is not strict, snd goves you all the time you need to learn music.

At 65 I decided to learn to play guitar. Online courses weren’t quite working for me. Mike makes learning fun and interesting. He has a broad knowledge of multiple genres and is extremely passionate and patient.

Just started taking lessons after a 45 year break. Wow, much different then my early years. Attentive, flexible, engaging and a lot of positive reinforcement. Enjoyed my first lesson which ended with learning a song using cords, not just notes. Thank you Mike.

For 40 years, learning to play a bass and guitar have been on my bucket list. I have tried a couple of times but the instruction was hard to follow as the teaching made assumptions about my skill set. Mike has made the lessons fun. I am not afraid to make mistakes.
