I visited Mission Hills Vet this past week and was very happy with the service I received. My "outside" cat had may problems, but his main problem was an abscess. I was presented with a few options and of course I chose the cheapest. Unfortunately, the cheap option didn't work and I ended up back in the office 2 days later. The staff fit me in and got my cat taken care of. They charged me for the treatment, but did not charge me an additional exam. I believe the staff and doctor to be friendly and the doctor to be very thorough. I would recommend this place to any one looking for a great and affordable vet.

I use the internet for everything and because of this I looked up a veterinary hospital to take my pets to. When I pulled up Mission Hills Vet, there was only one review. I was appalled to see what the only (1) review said. I normally would not go to a place with bad reviews. However, I thought, I would take a chance, after all, it is only one persons opinion. I am glad I did. The employees gave me an estimate of services when I called, and stuck to what I requested. The vet did a thorough exam and told me my options for treating allergies. Unfortunately it wasn't an easy fix but I think the antihistamines are working well for my pet. Good job!

I have had dogs my whole life, and have been to vet after vet and have never been so at ease than I was at my visit to see Dr. Butts. My dog was not sick, but needed his shots updated. When we got there Champ was nervous and certainly scared. The staff was friendly, and helpful, and when they tried to put us in the exam room Champ was hesitant. During the exam the doctor was on the floor playing with my dog and wasn't afraid of my "pit"(like other vets I have been to, some of which that try to muzzle him right away) . Champ was put at ease right away, no muzzle was needed. With so many vets in this area, it is very important to have something special to offer your clients. I believe they offered patience, knowledge and expertise. Champ has a new DOC!

I took my dog in for a cough and different test were done and was sent home with medicine but cough continued a 1 month later my stepfather took him to another vet and was told right away that my dog had cancer and that was the cause of the cough. He was put down, my old boy is gone, i'm broken hearted. How could this vet not catch that. I'm extremely disappointed. I was charged a large sum of money for nothing. Just so that I could bring the dog back in and have to wait for results. I would never go there again. Would not recommend unless you are rich.
