Ascent is a wilderness treatment program for troubled teenagers with negative and potentially destructive behavior patterns. It serves children between the ages of 13 and 18 who are suffering with defiance toward s authority, difficulty in anger management, substance abuse, manipulative behavior, poor impulse control, poor relationships with family and peers and depression. The program is licensed by the state of Idaho and accredited by The Joint Commission. Ascent is a member of the National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs and National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers. It is owned and operated by a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, which is one of the leading hospital management companies in the United States. Ascent is located in Naples, Idaho.
