Provided by YP.comDr. Simon performed rotator cuff surgery on me on 1/18/2018, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Nashua, NH.
I had undergone a few months of physical therapy after a fall, which had not taken away my pain when using my arm, so I was referred to Dr. Simon for an opinion.
Prior to my consult, I was informed by more than a few people that he is regarded as one of the very best surgeons by his peers and patients alike, and a frequent ground breaker in his field. Interestingly, I was also told to “expect the unexpected” in his patient approach and that he was a bit unorthodox in his manner. Both have proved 100% correct. Within minutes of meeting him, I was at ease and smiling. Not so easy to accomplish when feeling a bit overwhelmed and nervous. But, he had me laughing and at ease, quickly . However, I needed more than that. In my mind, I still wanted to feel confident and trusting in his knowledge and skill. When he “got down to business”, although still showing his humorous side, his surgical talents and self-confidence in his skills quickly helped me decide I was ready for surgery and more than happy he was going to be my surgeon. He has the perfect combination of humor and surgical skills to relax you, while also building a trust in you that you are in the best of hands.
Just before surgery, with the last visit before being wheeled in, his continued joking, but professional demeanor, contributed to me feeling more relaxed, and ready, than before any other surgery I have undergone.
