It was ALL about a DOLL. . . GIVING toys co-founder hilary Broderick spent a summer in togo working AS a medical volunteer while pursuing a doctorate degree. Upon returning home. SHE HAD ONE mission: to send a baby doll to a Darling Togolese girl named 'KK. ' while the Kids in HILARY’S life AT home SAW their overwhelming amount of toys AS “boring” or “OLD". SHE knew that happy. Little 'KK' would give anything for what would BE HER only TOY. The differences between the experiences of children around the world became impossible for hilary to ignore. Unfortunately. The LOW success rate of mail arriving in togo and the whirlwind of college life kept that doll from ever making it to 'KK'--BUT the goal remained. Hilary decided to leave HER life AS a Budding scientist and instead build a NEW career around the concept of giving. HILARY'S goal is to deliver developmentally valuable toys to Kids like 'KK'. And to provide parents with a NEW WAY to teach their children the value of giving. AT giving toys. OUR mission is TWO fold. First. We AIM to bestow the important developmental benefits of playing with the right toys to children WHO would otherwise have none. Second. We hope to help parents teach the value of appreciation and giving to children WHO are blessed to play with many toys. We hope that ONE DAY it will BE commonplace for a child receiving a NEW TOY to ASK. "will Another KID GET a TOY because I AM?" please help US realize OUR mission by choosing to give toys TOO.
